Euphoria Kitchen Featured in Masterclass Design Magazine
A proud moment for our team and a beautiful showcase of thoughtful kitchen design
We’re very proud to share that one of our recent Euphoria kitchen projects has been featured in the latest edition of Masterclass Design Magazine, which is distributed nationally.
For us, this is a lovely moment of recognition for the care, creativity and attention to detail that goes into every kitchen we design. It is also a chance to shine a light on a project that really captures what we love doing at Euphoria: helping people see what is possible in their homes and creating kitchens that feel personal, practical and beautifully considered.
The featured kitchen was designed by our very own Jo Hurley, who worked closely with the homeowners to create a warm, multifunctional space for modern family living and effortless entertaining. The article describes how Jo used thoughtful layout, layered materials and intelligent storage to transform a busy household kitchen into a welcoming hub that works hard every day.
A kitchen designed around real family life
The brief for this project was to create a kitchen that could do a lot, without ever feeling cluttered or complicated.
The homeowners wanted a space that would work for everyday family life, but also feel relaxed and sociable when hosting friends and family. Storage was incredibly important, with every essential needing its own place, but the kitchen still had to feel warm, open and inviting.
That balance is something we care deeply about at Euphoria. A kitchen should look beautiful, of course, but it also needs to support the way you live, cook, entertain and move through your home.
Inspired by earthy tones and indoor greenery
The home already had a lovely extended living area, with wide bifolding doors opening out onto the garden. From Jo’s first visit, it was clear that the design needed to connect naturally with that setting.
The homeowners also loved houseplants, so bringing the outside in became a key part of the scheme. Warm, earthy tones shaped the whole design, with Hardwick Olive cabinetry paired with Ligna Tuscan Walnut to create depth, softness and warmth.
It is a kitchen that feels calm and grounded, but still has real character.
Thoughtful details throughout
The kitchen includes a beautiful mix of materials and finishes, including Tuscan Walnut internal cabinetry, Calacatta Magnifico worktops by Cimstone, antique brass metalwork, and an Antique Bronze Mirror effect glass splashback behind the hob. There is also a Metalix Bronze splashback from Masterclass behind the TV area, helping the whole room feel cohesive and carefully layered.
These are the details that can completely change how a kitchen feels. Not loud or overdone, but quietly considered.
Clever storage and a place for everything
One of the things we love about this project is how much thought went into making the kitchen work day to day.
The design includes a Lansbury corner with door-mounted spice racks, a 40cm Space Tower Larder, a full-depth Country Dresser housing the coffee station and air fryer, an 84L Velabin, a bronze display larder cabinet with mirrored back, Tuscan Walnut cutlery inserts and a 30cm Tuscan Walnut base pull-out.
That might sound like a lot, but that is exactly the point. When storage is designed properly, everything feels easier. Worktops stay clearer, everyday items are close to hand, and the space feels calmer to live in.
A sociable island made for entertaining
One of Jo’s favourite parts of the design is the circular end to the island.
It allows family and guests to sit comfortably in the kitchen without getting in the way of whoever is cooking. Walnut Flutto Mini Ridge panels were used to create a curved leg, with integrated downlights to highlight the natural warmth of the walnut.
It is a beautiful design feature, but it is also practical. It makes the kitchen more sociable, softens the space and gives the room a real focal point.
A hidden wine bar
Another standout feature is the wine bar nook, described in the Masterclass feature as a hidden gem made for relaxed evenings and special moments. It is a great example of how a carefully designed kitchen can include little moments of personality. Not everything has to be purely functional. Some details are there because they make the space feel more enjoyable to live in.
The countertops are by AKG Surfaces in Calacatta Magnifico, adding a soft, marble-inspired finish that lifts the whole scheme. The pale surface works beautifully against the Hardwick Olive cabinetry and warm Tuscan Walnut, bringing contrast, brightness and a more elegant feel to the space while still being practical for everyday family life.
Why this feature means so much to us
Being featured nationally by Masterclass is something we are genuinely proud of. We work closely with our clients to understand not just what they want their kitchen to look like, but how they want it to feel and function. Every home is different, and every client comes to us with different priorities, whether that is storage, entertaining, family life, a better layout, or simply wanting something that feels a bit more special.
This kitchen is a brilliant example of what happens when a client takes the time to work closely with their designer and trusts the process.
